Job summary

Forest Hills Care & Rehabilitation Center seeks compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants for weekend double shifts. Shifts run 6:00 am to 10:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays; two consecutive weekend doubles are required for Baylor program eligibility.

We offer Baylor pay (8-hour paid for 6 hours worked), shift differential, PTO+ (full-time after 90 days), holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year, take-home pay up to 75% of net wages, 401(k) with employer match, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued CNA exam.
• Active Oklahoma CNA certification required.
• Six months of long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, hygiene, bathing, and incontinence care.
• Assist with feeding and food tray delivery.
• Support range-of-motion exercises and mobility.
• Provide personal care and comfort to residents.
• Record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Available Weekend Double Shifts:

• 6:00 am - 10:00 pm
• Saturday & Sunday
• Candidates must work two consecutive weekend double shifts to qualify for the Baylor program

Essential Functions of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises
• Provides for personal care and comfort
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in center
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred
• Must pass a state-issued exam
• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Oklahoma
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
