Job summary

Forest Hills Care & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a caring Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team on site. You will assist residents with daily living activities, ensure comfort, monitor vital signs, and support the nursing team in providing high-quality care in a senior living environment.

The role requires a state CNA certification for Oklahoma and a preference for prior long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam
• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Oklahoma
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises
• Provides for personal care and comfort
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in center
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned

• Weekend Double: 6am-10pm every Saturday and Sunday *Baylor Pay
