Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Nashville, TN to support a DoD-cleared environment. The role offers weekend opportunities with Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts and a starting pay of $22.00 per hour.

The position requires 2+ years of security experience and eligibility for DoD clearance. You will patrol, monitor access points, and respond to incidents, delivering high-quality security services within a professional, security-conscious setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess one or more of the following: minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site; prior military experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations
