Job summary

Allied Universal’s Nashville team is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Weekend Patrol. You will monitor a government facility, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence on site.

The role requires 3+ years in security or related fields, a high school diploma, and eligibility for required licenses and background checks. Weekend shifts include Saturday and Sunday with a 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government facility personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government facility areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor-related documentation.
• Follow post orders and applicable government facility protocols while supporting a professional environment for occupants and visitors.
