Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Nashville, TN to join a DoD-cleared environment. The position offers a 40-hour week with an evening shift (4:00 PM–Midnight) and DoD clearance-eligibility requirements.

We seek professionals with 2+ years of security experience who are dependable and capable of operating in a security-sensitive setting. This role provides competitive pay and growth within a global leader in security services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security experience required.
• Able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance.
• Professional, dependable, and comfortable working in a security-sensitive environment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to protect people, assets, and sensitive information.
• Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
• Follow site-specific manuals and post orders; report safety concerns and breaches via written and oral communication to client or other security personnel.
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergencies.
