Allied Universal in Nashville is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to support a high-security, DoD-cleared environment. This weekend-focused role offers Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts at $22.00/hour, with 16 to 24 hours per week.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of security experience, can pursue the DoD clearance process, and demonstrate professional, dependable conduct. You will patrol, greet guests, protect people and property, and respond to alarms in a security-sensitive setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Able to obtain DoD position appropriate security clearance.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Two or more years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site or prior military experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services and safeguard people and property.
• Conduct patrols by foot, bicycle, or vehicle to protect assets and information.
• Greet guests and escort visitors to secure entry/exit points.
• Follow site manuals and post orders; report safety concerns and breaches.

Looking for a part-time security opportunity that works around your weekday schedule? Allied Universal is hiring Part-Time Security Officers in Nashville for an exciting new security operation with opportunities to work in a DoD-cleared environment.

With multiple weekend shifts available, this is a great opportunity for experienced security professionals looking for additional hours while gaining valuable experience in a high-security setting.

Position Highlights

Available Weekend Shifts

• Overnight: 12:30 AM–8:30 AM
• Day: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Evening: 4:30 PM–12:30 AM
• Specific days and hours vary by assignment

Requirements

• 2+ years of security experience required
• Ability to meet all requirements for the DoD security clearance process
• Professional, dependable, and able to work in a security-sensitive environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess one or more of the following:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
  • Prior military experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
• Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
