Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a part-time Dishwasher at Bluffton University to support kitchen and facilities by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in production and service areas. You will be responsible for cleaning equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage spaces, transporting supplies, and assisting with basic setup and breakdown tasks.

Shifts are on weekends with details provided during interview. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and knowledge of sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• No related work experience required.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using specific chemicals for sanitation.
• Re-stock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or mobility required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds (occasionally 50).
• Attends work on time with regularity.
