Archway Apartments in Russellville, AR is seeking a Direct Support Professional for weekend, part-time shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM). The role involves helping clients with daily living tasks, transportation to activities, and documenting progress in the client’s plan of care, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a respectful environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience.
Two or more years assisting developmentally disabled individuals preferred.
Valid driver's license required for transportation duties.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living tasks including bathing, dressing, housekeeping, shopping, meals and budgeting.
Provide transportation to activities and appointments with a valid Arkansas driver’s license.
Maintain communication via logs and meetings; document client progress and plan of care.
Complete required forms and maintain records in line with Medicaid guidelines.
Report incidents immediately and adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
Support development of the client’s Plan of Care and monitor health, safety, and security.
Assist with medication management procedures and documentation.
Organize recreational activities and model professional behavior and dress code.
Assist in facility and vehicle maintenance and participate in ongoing training.
