Job summary

Omega Home Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver for weekend shifts in Towson, MD. You’ll empower individuals with mental and developmental disabilities to live with dignity and independence.

This part-time role offers $20/hour, a weekend-focused schedule (Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM), and a chance to build real relationships while making a positive impact in the community. CPR/First Aid and CNA/CMT certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean background check.
• Reliable vehicle with valid car insurance and valid driver’s license (preferred but not required).
• CPR & First Aid Certification.
• CNA Certification.
• CMT Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living and self-care skills.
• Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, cooking, and laundry.
• Help individuals follow personalized behavior and support plans.
• Accompany individuals to appointments and community activities.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and personal growth.
• Provide companionship, safety, and emotional support.
