Job summary

Omega Home Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver in White Marsh, MD, with a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule (40 hours per week) and $20 per hour pay. This full-time role supports individuals with mental and developmental disabilities at home and in the community.

Responsibilities include daily living support, light housekeeping, personal care, and accompanying clients to appointments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Clean background check.
• Reliable vehicle with valid car insurance and valid driver's license (preferred but not required).
• CPR & First Aid Certification.
• CMT Certification.
• CNA Certification (Recommended but not required).

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with daily living and self-care skills
• Assisting with household tasks such as light cleaning, cooking, and laundry
• Helping individuals follow personalized behavior and support plans
• Accompanying individuals to appointments and community activities
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and personal growth
• Providing companionship, safety, and emotional support
