Job summary

Easter Seals Tennessee seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help people with disabilities learn, work and play in their communities. Shifts include weekend days (Fri-Sun 9 AM–9 PM) and weekend nights (Fri-Sun 9 PM–9 AM); starting pay is $15/hour with a tenure pay scale and annual bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have valid automobile insurance
• Basic computer skills
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• Support individuals in the community and facilitate therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff.
• Assist with daily living tasks to enhance quality of life and promote independence.
