Job summary

The Arc of Centre County is hiring Direct Support Professionals to serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Centre County in multiple group homes. This weekend-only, part-time role supports residents with daily living, medication administration, and community activities.

Ideal candidates have prior DSP experience; paid training is provided. We offer benefits, a 401(k), mileage reimbursement, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to pass required physical and TB screening.
• Able to assist with lifting, bending, standing, and transferring.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills (cooking, hygiene, routines).
• Administer medications and follow support plans.
• Provide transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Build meaningful relationships and support independence.
