Job summary

ViaQuest Community Solutions in Indianapolis and surrounding areas is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for weekend positions. Pay is $15.75 per hour and training is provided in full, with no prior experience required.

The role focuses on delivering direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting independence, safety and choice. Benefits include a comprehensive package for full-time staff, flexible schedules, and opportunities to work as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
• Valid Indiana driver's license and car insurance.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
• Experience in developmental disabilities or direct care preferred but not required.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities - our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Working together as a team to ensure the needs of those served are met.
• Teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
