Job summary

Richcroft is seeking a Weekend Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This part-time position runs Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 10pm with a base rate of $22/hr plus a $1/hr weekend shift differential, equaling $23/hr.

The role involves assisting with community participation, independent living skills, personal care, planning, cooking, cleaning, and social engagement, while also supporting meaningful

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current driver’s license with less than 3 points on driving record.
• Must be able to transport people supported as needed.
• Some lifting and transferring may be required.
• Must have at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Must be at least 20 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist with participation and exploration of the community.
• Cultivate and expand independent living skills.
• Provide assistance with personal hygiene, activities, outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
• Assist with development of meaningful relationships.
• Administer and record medications per state and agency requirements when applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.
