Friendship Community Care, Inc. is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM in Russellville, AR.

The role supports clients in daily living activities, transportation, documentation, and health and safety tasks within home and community settings. The DSP role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 2+ years of experience with developmentally disabled individuals) and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or two+ years' experience working with developmentally disabled individuals.
• Must also have a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients with daily living tasks such as showers, dressing, housekeeping, shopping, meal planning and budgeting.
• Provides transportation to activities and appointments; valid Arkansas Driver's License required.
• Maintains communication with staff about clients' needs and progress; completes required documentation and logs.
• Follows medication management guidelines and monitors procedures.
• Organizes recreational activities and models professional behavior; upholds confidentiality and HIPAA policies.
