Job summary

Atrium Centers is seeking a Part Time Weekend Cook to support residents with meals Friday through Sunday in a 100% employee-owned environment. You’ll prepare meals per dietary plans and assist with service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strict adherence to sanitary policies; experience cooking for large groups or in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year cooking experience for a large group; long-term care or institutional experience preferred.
• Ability to scale and quantify recipes to meet facility needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Service-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to resident diet specifications and menu plans
• Follow direction from the Dietary Supervisor to ensure consistency and quality
• Comply with all facility dietary policies, procedures, and sanitary regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and portion control
• Support timely meal service for residents
