Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for per-diem weekend coverage. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, operate EPIC/PACS, and assist physicians with interventional procedures, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, image acquisition, QA, and maintaining records. Requires a registered RVT/RDMS or ARRT and ultrasound school graduation; good communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Graduate of an approved Ultrasound School.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures according to departmental format and completes exam in allotted time.
• Operates EPIC, PACS, Teletracking System and other computer systems.
• Performs portable ultrasound exams and assists physicians with interventional procedures.
