Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, operate advanced imaging systems, and support interventional procedures. You will prepare patients, ensure image quality, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

The role requires an ultrasound school graduate with strong communication and computer skills, and entails on-site responsibilities with shifts including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an approved Ultrasound School.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures according to departmental format within allotted time.
• Uses EPIC, PACS, Teletracking and other systems for scheduling and documentation.
• Performs portable ultrasound exams and assists with interventional procedures as needed.
• Prepares and positions patients, ensures proper image quality, and documents findings.
