Job summary

Longmont United Hospital in Longmont, CO is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for a weekend option. You will provide high-quality imaging and patient care, acting as a clinical resource for the imaging team.

Responsibilities include performing abdominal, pelvic, OB, vascular and other ultrasound exams, ensuring ALARA safety, and educating patients. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• ARDMS / ABR / ARRT credentials as listed.
• BLS through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retroperitoneal, small parts and vascular.
• May perform cardiac procedures as required by entity.
• Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner and prepares patient for exam.
• Provides information and instruction to patient and family regarding the procedure and notes patient condition.
• Maintains equipment operation and notifies service when necessary.

ARDMS RDMS OB/GYN / AB / BR

ARRT R.T.(S) / RVT / VS

ARDMS RDCS(AE) / PE or RCS
