Job summary

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital is seeking a Registered Diagnostic Sonographer to perform abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular ultrasound imaging for adult and pediatric patients. The role includes on-call duties, documentation, and adherence to imaging protocols in a high-quality diagnostic department.

The position requires RVT registry within 1 year of hire, and offers a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants. Monday through Thursday shifts run 9:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• Associate or Trade School Equivalency required.
• No Experience required.
• RDMS or equiv certification.
• RDCS or equiv certification.
• CPR certification.
• Preferred: 2 years of ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment.
• Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures.
• Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.
