Job summary
Boot Barn Distribution Center seeks a part-time DC Associate to support receiving, sorting, and shipping. This role utilizes RF scanners, computer systems, and distribution reports under the DC Supervisor's direction to process merchandise efficiently.
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years in a warehouse environment and is proficient with pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts, with strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced retail logistics setting.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of work experience in distribution/warehouse.
- Experience with computer systems and shipping/receiving.
- Proficiency in inventory/database programs; Epicor NSB a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other DC equipment.
Responsibilities
- Pulls product for weekly distributions to stores.
- Prepares and stages orders for shipping.
- Operates forklift/reach truck to move inventory.
- Ensures paperwork completed before shipment.
- Back stocks incoming freight to bin locations.
- Assist with receiving freight and tagging.
- Unload/load trucks.
- Monitor equipment and report problems.
- Maintain safe, clean work environment.
- Demonstrates professionalism in communication with partners and vendors.
- Adhere to laws and company policies, OSHA safety guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
