Job summary

RTX in Springfield, VA is seeking a highly qualified IT professional to ensure maximum system availability and oversee Linux-based operations. You will follow engineering instructions, perform system updates, and provide VM services in coordination with the ISP and our support factory.

The role requires a current TS/SCI with poly clearance, U.S. citizenship, and hands-on experience in Linux administration, IC environments, and PKI/LDAP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 2+ years.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Security+ certification.
• System administration experience across Linux systems.
• Experience in the Intelligence Community (IC).
• Experience with dislocated or geographically separated operations.
• Experience with LDAP, NFS, TCP/IP, Splunk, Grafana, NIS/NIS+.
• Experience issuing and managing PKI certifications.
• Experience with SQL, C++ and Java.
