Job summary

Atkore International is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Technician I for the Day Shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Sat/Sun) based in Pueblo, CO. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and focuses on maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and electrical equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent; a technical certification in maintenance is a plus.
• Certification in Maintenance Management, OSHA, or DOT HAZMAT is preferred.
• 3 years of proven maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow diagrams, manuals, and specs to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on boiler, chiller, and compressor.
• Repair electrical motors, wiring, and control components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems and replace worn parts (bearings, chains, pillow blocks).
• Perform hydraulic maintenance and welding as needed.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
