Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to support residents in a 128-bed long-term care setting. The NA provides daily living assistance, basic nursing tasks, and psychosocial support under an RN's supervision.

Responsibilities include measuring vital signs, assisting with transfers, and helping with meals. The role requires a CNA certification and is set within a faith-based, nonprofit environment offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with State Board or in process of obtaining certification.
• Experience in long-term care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic nursing assistance tasks and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing.
• Record vital signs and report changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dining experience.
• Support housekeeping and laundry to keep resident areas clean.
