Commercial Maintenance Inc. is seeking a Day Porter to maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance at assigned properties on weekends. The role requires proactive cleaning, responsiveness to requests, and attention to detail during the shift.

Responsibilities include cleaning lobbies, restrooms, and common areas, plus trash removal and ensuring safety policies are followed. English/Spanish bilingual ability is preferred and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.
• 1–2 years janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow a set schedule.
• Self motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions and assigned cleaning schedules.
• Respond promptly to building and cleaning requests.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of lobbies, corridors, elevators, and stairwells.
• Pick up, empty, and transport trash and recycling.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets and sinks.
• Refill paper towel, toilet paper, and soap dispensers.
• Clean spills and maintain safe conditions at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas.
• Clean glass surfaces including doors and mirrors.
• Perform detailed dusting, vacuuming, and mopping as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
