Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is hiring for a part-time General Labor role in Tennessee. This position involves production support, packaging, and equipment setup in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for food manufacturing or warehousing experience; SAP skills are a plus. Shifts are Friday through Sunday, up to 30 hours per week, with duties including safety compliance and accurate production recording.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of work experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing or warehousing preferred.
• Strong math and computer skills (SAP a plus).
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient production support (hand-stacking, case packing, housekeeping, product conveying, reclaim).
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) precisely.
• Set up packaging coders and validate product codes.
• Identify and report out-of-specification product conditions.
• Operate a lift truck safely to move materials.
• Complete production records accurately and neatly.
• Assist with equipment changeovers, CIP/SIP, clean-up, and setup.
• Perform environmental controls and product reclaim/rework.
• Package and stack products.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety procedures.
• Cross-train with other departments.
• Maintain clean work areas.
