Job summary

Associated Students UCLA in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Custodian (Limited Appointment) to perform comprehensive custodial duties under the Custodian Manager, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and the proper functioning of university facilities.

The role requires 6+ months of custodial experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and a valid California driver’s license. Schedule includes Saturdays and Sundays 10:00 AM–6:30 PM with potential overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial and housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of facilities.
• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, hallways, stairs, elevators, entrances, and exterior areas; perform floor care.
• Move and arrange furniture; collect, dispose of trash, compost and recycling; monitor inventory of custodial supplies.
• Ensure areas are secured after work and report safety hazards to Building/Custodial Managers.
• Work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and overtime during peak periods.
