Job summary

Associated Students UCLA seeks a Senior Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across university facilities. You will perform comprehensive custodial duties, including cleaning restrooms, offices, and common areas, while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

The role requires 6+ months custodial experience, ability to operate cleaning equipment, and reliability. A CA driver’s license and flexible schedule (evenings/weekends) are often required in this department.

Qualifications

• Requires 6+ months custodial experience that includes manual cleaning, and operation of floor cleaning/ carpet shampooing equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Employment is contingent on DMV Pull Notice system and valid CA driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial and housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of university facilities.
• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas; mop, vacuum, and perform floor care.
• Move furniture as needed and assist other departments; report safety hazards to supervisors.
• Monitor inventory of custodial supplies and dispose of waste per policy.
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and overtime during peak periods.
