Job summary

Verde Clean is seeking a Custodian to keep our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, and the pay rate is $17 per hour. You will perform cleaning, restocking, floor care, and safety checks while supporting a positive staff environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least one year of janitorial experience. independence, reliability, and courteous interaction with others are essential traits for success.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols. Must be able to work independently and interact courteously with others.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs. Must be comfortable using basic cleaning tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and counters. You'll also clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
• Restocking Supplies: Keep restrooms stocked with essentials like toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Ensure dispensers are filled and monitor supplies across the facility.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Safety & Security: Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor. Maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants.
• Customer Service: Provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and fellow team members, creating a positive and welcoming environment.
