Job summary
Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine CT imaging on scheduled and emergency cases, ensuring QC/Exam Data integrity. The role requires ARRT RT/CT certification and a minimum of one year of experience, with BLS certification.
You will follow ALARA, communicate with patients and families, and support daily section operations. Shifts include Saturday and Sunday, 6:30pm–7:00am, with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and a comprehensive benefits package
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Allied Health required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience as Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT RT/CT certification and BLS required.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine CT imaging on scheduled and emergency basis following QC workflow.
- Review requisitions and determine appropriateness of CT examinations based on diagnosis and clinical signs.
- Identify patients using two identifiers and explain the exam and radiation exposure; adhere to ALARA.
- Explain the examination and answer questions from patients and families.
- Support daily operations and report equipment malfunctions and issues.
