Job summary

Beth-Israel-Lahey-Health in Beverly, MA is seeking a CT and Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic CT and radiographic exams for ER, inpatient and outpatient populations, while maintaining ALARA and patient safety. Overtime, on-call and holiday rotation may be required.

Requires ARRT registration, MA license with CT certification within 12 months, and BLS. Experience in trauma settings preferred. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology education.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible.
• Licensed by MA Department of Public Health: Radiation Control Program.
• If CT trained, must obtain CT certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and documents essential patient information/history for exams.
• Documents contrast usage and allergy information.
• Performs CT exams with high accuracy.
• Uses RIS with accurate demographics and accession numbers.
• Ensures ALARA and proper post-processing of images.
• Maintains clean, safe environment and adheres to policies.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
