Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program and ARRT CT certification is required.
• Current BLS certification and TX MRT licensing or eligibility.
• Ability to perform high-quality CT procedures in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures according to protocol and ensure patient safety.
• Monitor radiation dose reference levels and respond if limits are exceeded.
• Utilize iSTAT for point-of-care testing and communicate with patients using AIDET.
• Prepare the patient and room, position equipment, and adjust exposure factors as needed.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and coordinate with engineering/physics for optimal operation.
• Document requisitions, patient history, and imaging records per policy.
