Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited radiology technology program.
• One (1) year’s experience in a CT department with multi-slice technology is preferred.
• ARRT registered in Radiology; state licensed in radiology by the LSRT.
• CT Registered required within one (1) year of hire.
• Current BLS certification through ILCOR provided courses.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with patients of all types and ages.
• Must possess strong guest relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and position patients to obtain optimal images.
• Track each study and perform PACS acquisition.
• Apply radiation protection devices and select technical factors to produce quality images.
• Perform related duties to support quality computerized tomographical services.
