Job summary

St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA is seeking a radiologic technologist to image patients during surgical procedures.

You will work closely with the surgical team, safely operate radiographic equipment, and ensure optimal imaging quality while following radiation protection standards. Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT and LSRT licenses, and at least 2 years of outpatient or inpatient radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Must hold ARRT license and LSRT license.
• Two years of experience in an outpatient surgical facility or inpatient hospital.

Responsibilities

• Image patients undergoing surgical procedures with the surgical team.
• Safely operate radiographic equipment and position patients.
• Apply radiation protection devices and select appropriate technical factors.
• Track patient studies and PAS acquisition of the study performed.
• Perform other delegated tasks to support Diagnostics Radiology.
