St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA, is seeking a CT technologist to operate the CT scanner, position patients, and perform PACS acquisitions with care for image quality and safety. This full-time role includes weekend shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting near Lake Pontchartrain.
The successful candidate will have ARRT radiology registration, state licensure, and BLS certification, plus at least one year of multislice CT experience and strong guest relations skills.

Manipulates computerized tomographical radiological equipment, using knowledge of positioning patients and general anatomy and physiology as well as the ability for processing these images. Responsible for the tracking of each study and the PACS acquisition of the study performed. Properly uses radiation protection devices, selects technical factors necessary to produce optimum quality computerized radiographical images; processes those images and performs a variety of other duties consistent with providing quality computerized tomographical services.
