Job summary

Belton Regional Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging in alignment with department standards. The role focuses on producing high-quality images for diagnosis while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The position requires AMA-accredited program graduate status or Radiology Technology degree, ARRT certification within 1 year, BCLS within 30 days, and on-call availability with prompt response.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• ARRT CT certification must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• ARRT Radiography certification must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional CT training.
• On-call availability with 30-minute response time.

Responsibilities

• Assist and position patients on the CT table with compassion.
• Initiate IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and adjust as needed for optimal imaging.
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients upon release.
• Prepare and sterilize the CT room between patients using aseptic technique.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
