Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks a Radiology Technologist to operate CT equipment and perform high-quality studies in a multi‑specialty setting. You’ll ensure safety, administer contrast, and support PACS/RIS workflows across a busy imaging department.

The role requires ARRT CT, MRT-General, completion of an approved radiology program, and BCLS. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for patient care and education of new staff.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited program.
  • Graduate from an approved Radiology Technology program.
  • ARRT (R) (CT) certification.
  • CT registry within one year of hire.
  • BCLS certification through American Heart Association.
  • Proven ability to use computer keyboard and grasp advanced CT elements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment and perform studies per department standards.
  • Maintain radiation safety records to comply with state regulations.
  • Perform sterile technique and administer intravenous contrast.
  • Access radiology information and imaging archive systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate service arrangements.
  • Communicate professionally with staff and patients.
  • Assist with orientation and training of new employees and students.
  • Participate in continuing education and clinic safety programs.
