Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System is seeking a Radiology Technologist specialized in CT to perform diagnostic CT procedures for patients in Perry County Imaging Services. The position supports Friday through Sunday weekend shifts and requires proficiency in acquiring high-quality images and administering contrast under physician guidance.

The ideal candidate is ARRT CT registered, holds an Ohio radiology license, and has at least one year of experience with CT imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT registry within 2 years of hire date.
• Minimum of one year experience as a licensed Radiology Technologist.
• CPR certification is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a hospital setting.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of clinical imaging systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanner and imaging equipment for diagnostic procedures.
• Determines proper technical factors to produce acceptable images.
• Assists physicians in CT-guided interventional procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media under physician direction.
• Follows radiation safety policies and uses protection protocols.
• Uses HIS/RIS/PACS to manage patient and procedure data.
• Assists in transporting patients to/from department.
• Participates in training of radiology students and education of patients.
