Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System seeks a qualified Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to perform diagnostic CT studies and support interventional procedures. The role requires precise technique, patient communication, and adherence to safety protocols within the Perry County Imaging Services team.

The candidate will operate CT scanners, prepare contrast media, and collaborate with physicians and students while upholding Genesis Mission and values.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required or eligible.
• Valid radiology license by state.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Radiology Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanner and imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Sets appropriate technical factors including slice thickness and exposure parameters.
• Assists physicians in CT-guided interventional procedures as needed.
• Prepares and administers contrast media with physician direction.
• Adheres to radiation protection and safety policies.
• Uses HIS/RIS/PACS to access and distribute procedure information.
• Transports patients to/from department as required.
• Participates in clinical training and supervision of radiology students.
• Provides information to patients and families about procedures.
• Contributes to QA/QC activities.
• Performs additional assigned functions.
