Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking an Imaging Technologist for a weekend CT-focused role on the Night Shift. The position covers Fri, Sat and Sun with a night differential and requires flexibility to support multiple imaging modalities.

You will perform CT and radiography exams, ensure patient safety, and maintain high image quality while entering charges in RIS and supporting department workflow. Ohio license and ARRT registration required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required; Radiologic Technology program degree preferred.
• License/Certification: ARRT registered or registry eligible; Ohio radiological license required.
• Experience: 2+ years in imaging preferred; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National standards.
• Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy. Ensures a high level of accuracy.
• Performs a variety of CT procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.
• Performs diagnostic x-ray exams with consistent and optimal image quality.
• Performs a variety of exams and is experienced in at least one modality with minor experience in another or willing to be trained based on licensure.
• Assists with Medical staff duties as possible to maintain workflow through the departments
• Participates in On-Call coverage as applicable.
• Attends in-service programs and departments meetings.
