Wellstar Health System, Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA, is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a patient-focused experience. The role requires ARRT credentials and at least 1 year in radiology, with a strong emphasis on ALARA and collaborative care.

You will perform CT exams, manage equipment, follow infection-control protocols, and document results in RIS/PACS while supporting department operations and patient comfort throughout the visit.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required.
• BLS certification required.

Mansioni

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently while maintaining ALARA principles.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and two unique patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and post-care using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout imaging visits.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and handle transfers/archival retrievals.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, restock life-support equipment as needed.
• Coordinate daily workflows and support department operations and compliance.
