The CT Technologist at Wellstar Health System provides safe, high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at Kennestone Hospital. You will join a collaborative care team, applying CT techniques with attention to patient comfort and safety.

We value accuracy, timely exams, and ongoing career growth within a nationally recognized health system that supports continuing education and a culture of safety.

Competenze

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.

Mansioni

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment independently and maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest possible dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and use two unique patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to reduce patient anxiety; ensure patient comfort and safety.

Formazione

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
