Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT. The role requires performing CT procedures, ensuring diagnostic quality, and adhering to ALARA and infection control standards.

You will educate patients using AIDET, maintain patient safety and privacy, and support departmental workflows in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of radiology experience, ARRT CT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT certification requirements per hospital policy.
• Ability to follow ALARA and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures and adjust technique for diagnostic quality.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy and comfort throughout the visit.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; assist other technologists as needed.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT-R (Radiography)

ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography

BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
