Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist in Marietta, GA to perform a range of CT and radiography exams in accordance with department procedures.

You will verify orders, prepare patients, and ensure safety and image quality while maintaining documentation and patient communication. The role requires graduation from an AMA‑approved Radiology Technology program and ARRT Radiography and CT certifications, with a minimum 1 year radiology experience; CT experience

Qualifications

Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiology Technology.
ARRT Radiography certification required.
ARRT Computed Tomography certification required.
BLS – Instructor certification desired or required per hospital policy.
Minimum 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform CT and radiography exams according to department procedures.
Verify clinician orders and patient identity prior to procedures.
Position patients and adjust equipment to optimize imaging while minimizing radiation.
Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies during procedures.
Maintain infection control and clean, calibrate and restock equipment as needed.
