Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. is seeking a Crisis Clinician (Weekend/Days) to lead assessments at the BHCC, guide service flow, and mentor staff during Saturday and Sunday shifts.

The role centers on delivering compassionate, person-centered care to individuals in crisis while coordinating with community partners. Requires a Master’s degree (preferable) and licensure or QAP certification; two years of crisis experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field required.
• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology preferred.
• Must have licensure as PLPC/LMSW/PLMFT/LPC/LCSW/LMFT if licensed therapist; QAP certifications CADC/CRADC/CRAADC/CCJP/CCDP if applicable.
• Minimum two years of crisis services experience if bachelor's is highest education.
• QAP with defined certifications (per 9 CSR 10-7.140) is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessor for individuals presenting at BHCC.
• Provide comprehensive assessments and discharge planning.
• Oversee and support non-clinical staff during assigned shifts.
• Direct flow and referrals to ensure timely care.
• Coordinate with internal teams, law enforcement, EMS, and community partners.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Provide culturally responsive care honoring individual needs.
• Offer virtual support to other BHCC or Youth BH Urgent Care sites as needed.
