Job summary

Network180 is seeking a Crisis Center Recovery Coach or Crisis Center Peer Support Specialist for the in-person Crisis Center in Grand Rapids, MI. The role supports clients in crisis, guiding them toward mental health and substance use services while modeling recovery skills.

Position is part-time (30 hours/week) Friday–Sunday 7:00am–5:00pm, located at 260 Jefferson Ave SE, Grand Rapids. Certification within 90 days is required or currently held as a Peer Support Specialist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Certified Peer Recovery Coach or eligible within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain Michigan certification within 90 days.
• Personal recovery experience and understanding of recovery concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions for clients in behavioral health crisis within Crisis Center.
• Assist clients in understanding and accessing substance use/mental health services.
• Model recovery competency and coping skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in Crisis Center setting.
