Network180 – Kent County Community Mental Health invites applications for a Crisis Center Recovery Coach / Peer Support Specialist. The position is part-time, 30 hours weekly, Friday through Sunday nights, in-person at 260 Jefferson Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI.

Compensation ranges from $17.24 to $22.86 hourly, final offer based on equity, skills, and experience. The role supports clients in crisis, offering recovery coaching, peer support, and access to mental health and substance use services

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience or volunteer work.
• State certification as Peer Recovery Coach within 90 days of hire.
• Long-term recovery from substance use and ability to relate to others in recovery.
• Ability to establish effective relationships with clients, families and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions for clients in behavioral health crisis.
• Model recovery and teach coping skills in crisis settings.
• Assist clients to understand and access services.
• Work within a multidisciplinary Crisis Center team.
