Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for weekend work in Cincinnati. You will support two psychiatric units under supervision, assist in evaluations and prescribed treatments, and participate in team activities to ensure quality patient care.

This role emphasizes patient independence and psychosocial recovery within a collaborative rehab team. Qualifications include a graduate of an approved OT program, BLS certification, and up to 1 year of fieldwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program (Required).
• Up to 1 year of field-work experience (Required).
• Ability to conduct assessment directed by a Registered, Occupational Therapist and assist in OT interventions.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to department program development through involvement in projects and improving treatment techniques.
• Maintains documentation within established time frames.
• Provides comprehensive and functional treatment to clients with varied diagnoses and ages.
