Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for weekend work to help patients regain independence and confidence during recovery. You will work under the supervision of a Licensed OT and contribute to evaluation and treatment with a focus on psychosocial rehab across age groups.

The role emphasizes direct patient services, collaboration with a rehab team, and duties such as inventory and department maintenance, with a weekend-only schedule at Cincinnati facilities.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program.
• Up to 1 year of field-work experience (preferred).
• Ability to conduct assessments directed by a Registered Occupational Therapist and assist in implementing OT interventions.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to department program development through involvement in projects and new treatment techniques.
• Maintains documentation within established time frames and guidelines.
• Provides comprehensive and functionally based treatment to clients with varying diagnoses.
• Supports departmental productivity and time management.
