Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Production Worker (Core Leacher) for the Weekend Day shift in Dover, NJ. On-site role with Saturday to Monday 6AM-6PM, training on 1st shift 6AM-2PM. Starting hourly rate is $25.00; after 12 months, $27.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate robotic equipment and cranes after training.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions.
• Must be able to work in pairs and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Removes ceramic cores and quartz tubes from castings using caustic solutions, heated and pressurized to specifications.
• Processes castings for inspection using acids or other chemical solutions.
• Mixes, neutralizes, cleans, and refills vessels containing acids or caustic solutions.
• Maintains production records and keeps work area clean and safe.
• Follows safety rules and works safely at all times.
